Tips and confidentiality
You may submit a tip without giving your name. If you ask us to keep your identity confidential, we will not publish it. No web form is perfectly secure, so for highly sensitive information consider contacting us from a personal device and non-work email account.
Technical information
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to serve the site securely and to guard against abuse and spam.
Third-party services
We rely on service providers for hosting, database storage, and email delivery. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Retention and your choices
We keep subscriber records until you unsubscribe, and message submissions for as long as they are editorially useful. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or ask us to delete your information through our contact page.
Children
This site is written for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
